This is how we do it
1 Creation
After sizing up the latest trends at fashion fairs and in today's fashion capitals, our design team starts developing Dto's men and ladies collection. Materials, colours and accessories are carefully selected for every item, in order to set up a collection that smoothly blends smart fashion, timeless style and exquisite quality.
2 Meeting the client
The collection's main ideas are outlined and presented to the client with samples and moodboards. During that meeting our creatives lay out Dto's vision, and see where it merges with the customer's needs. Items at interest are selected and adjusted where needed, and a price-offer is made. Regular visits to the client's stores around the world make sure our design team keeps tuned in closely with its products and concept.
3 DTOP: Placing and following up the order
The orders are passed using Dtop, our own supply chain software. This webbased information system developed by our ceo allows us to monitor all projects closely. This makes it possible to tune in at all times and follow up composition research, prototype development, sample requests, delivery dates, ... In addition to this we are constantly in contact with our Asian offices in China, Thailand and Bangladesh. The merchandisers in Asia are always working in tandem with the Belgian account managers. Together they make sure the client's wishes are perfectly understood and met by the manufacturers.
4 Production
The four Asian offices are ideally located to select the most suited factory in terms of technique, cost-efficiency and punctuality. Once the production of an order is started, Dto quality controllers are on location every day to supervise production and guarantee the very best quality. Our account managers too travel to Asia on a regular basis to ensure a smooth production process, further enforce partnerships and keep an eye on the working conditions.
5 Delivering quality fashion
After a final inspection, the required quality certificates are issued and the order is ready for shipment. Delivering quality means doing it right when no one is looking. The precision and devotion underlying all previous stages of the process now become tangible in custom-made clothing of impeccable quality that is delivered smoothly and on time to all our clients.
